Greg Slagle Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 Toyed around with mixing natural stain and blue artist paint to see how it would work. I think that part of it turned out well. I made this for my daughter whose maternal grandfather’s name was Jay. They were very close and he passed away a short time ago. She has a similar tattoo on her lower leg. This is a Kathy Wise pattern. I used Aspen, Red Oak, Cherry, Poplar and Wenge. Scrappile, Karl S, jollyred and 3 others 6 Quote
meflick Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 Beautiful work Greg. Sometimes you just have to add the dye to get the color that is needed. I am sure your daughter will love it. Greg Slagle 1 Quote
