jerry1939 Posted April 12, 2019 Report Posted April 12, 2019 Our computer is a Windows 10 Elite. If I told you what I think of it, I'd be banned from this site forever. When I run across a cartoon that I want to share with you Nice Folks, I use the Snipping Tool and save it in the pictures folder. Starting yesterday (after Microsoft did "an update"), the pictures folder no longer recognizes snipping tool photos. Unless something changes in the future, I won't be posting anymore cartoons. tgiro Posted April 12, 2019 Report Posted April 12, 2019 Hi, Jerry; Not sure what Snipping Tool you're using, but the browsers have an easy method for copying and saving photos and graphics. I'm not sure which browser you use. But all of the big three (MS Edge, Firefox, and Chrome) and Apple's Safari have the feature. When you want to copy or save a graphic, right click on the picture ( with the Mac you [ctrl] click). This will bring up a menu like one of these : FIrefox/Chrome Menu Microsoft's IE/Edge Menu Using Firefox, I click on the "Save Image As..." then select the folder I want to save to. Or, you can "Copy Image", then open your graphics viewer (I use Irfanview), paste it into the graphics viewer and save it from there. In the IE/Edge menu, click on "Save Picture as" or "Copy". I'm using Windows 10 Pro and both of these menus work for me. Falcon and GrampaJim 2 Quote

jollyred Posted April 13, 2019 Report Posted April 13, 2019 I've had to use your "click fix" a few times. Amazingly effective. Tom Scrolling Steve and RabidAlien 2 Quote
