Word Art

Howdy,, I've been wanting to make some word art signs for a long time.  After seeing the patterns Bob made for Koehler 788 in this thread, 

I really want to make some soon.  I know very little about making patterns.  Is it very hard to make these word art patterns?  Any pointers that you can give would be greatly appreciated.

This shows you how to do the Intersecting Word Art.  I watched a few times and then it clicked on what is goin on.  

There is also a word doc on the forum by "Herold??"  I have attached because I can't find the original.  This helps too.

Was following along with the tutorial that Travis made,, then ran into the problem of the Birds of Paradise font not being in Inkscape.  Did some digging and found out that it can't be used in the newest version of Inkscape,,, I'm gonna go cut something to relax!

Bird of Paradise works with mine.  

If you PM with your email I will send you a couple of fonts.  I don't always use Bird of Paradise.
