Popular Post Charlie E Posted May 6, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 6, 2019 (edited) Gotta say it was a privilege watching this great pattern by Sue Mey come to life on this beautiful piece of Walnut . I looked for 3 days for a way to back it that didn't take away from it. Settled on a piece of natural slate tile. Wonderful hobby we have isn't it? trackman Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Great idea on using the slate as background. How is it attached so it won’t fall over or out? Charlie E 1 Quote

The wood and the slate are in separate groves I cut into the base. I didn't attach them. I like being able to pick the cutting up and look at it from both sides. amazingkevin 1 Quote
