Foxfold Posted June 5, 2019 Report Posted June 5, 2019 Firstly I'd like to say a big 'Thank You' to all those that sent me such lovely messages of Goodwill, this is an incredible family we belong to. After spending time with my youngest and taking some time away from everything, I'm back home feeling tons better. My daughter is getting by day on day. I'm going back for her fathers funeral as I know that's when it will really hit her. My dogs are glad that their routine is back to normal and Tony is happy that he doesn't have to have takeaways anymore I've been back on my saw as I find that I can shut out the world and have some comparative peace when I'm cutting. Looking forward to catching up on all the posts I've missed. Brenda xx Fab4, Loskoppie, RabidAlien and 3 others 6 Quote
meflick Posted June 5, 2019 Report Posted June 5, 2019 Glad you are back home, for Tony and here in the Village. Glad you were able to help your daughter. I know losing her father is tough on her and it will be day to day for a long time. Glad she has you to help her and I know she will appreciate having you there for the funeral. Glad you are finding peace and solace at your saw. I lost my mom a little more than 3 years ago after an extended battle with Alzheimer's (my dad had died 26 years before from lung cancer). It was after her death that I found the saw and like you, found it helped me to shut out the world and bring peace while cutting. Foxfold 1 Quote
