Hi All,

I have been asked if I could cut this picture. Can someone help me with a cuttable pattern. I was supplied with this black & white but I can get a colour pic. if needed. There's no rush as I have a few patterns/cuts on the go at the moment.

Thanks for looking

Could I say not a great deal of detail, just recognisable ?? Or would it need a lot of detail to make it recognisable. ?? I don't really know, I will leave it up to you to produce your excellent results as you see it

thanks again

Thanks Travis, I am working with the 3 dogs pattern that you did for me and you said it was easy(ish) but I find it quite detailed and I love it. I just wonder what a more detailed one would be like. I am working on 2 or 3 patterns at a time usually as I like a break after a couple of hours and time to think of other things,  at present I am about to finish off a Fiona Kingdon pattern (double dragonflies), I have the 3 dogs on the go (I have made that an A3 drawing size, about 16 1/2" x 15" ) and I would like to plan a shadow box type cutting on 4 (or more) layers.

At present I am resting after a visit to the 'Shed' today as my back is sore, couple of days should light duties should see it ok.

Thanks again Travis.

thats cool can't wait to see that one done and yes there's a lot of detail in the dogs I'll try my best to keep the cuts down in this one. maybe more bigger cuts, I don't do any scroll saw work so I don't know what it looks like printed out maybe sometimes if its a small pattern things can't be cut.when I make my patterns sometimes the lines are to thick for some parts and I tend to get lost in the work and make it hard to cutting, I love detail maybe i should back down a bit from it and try to make easier cuttings for people.

Thanks for that Travis. An excellent pattern I can't wait to try. I will post in the usual places when finished. My back is a bit better after a couple of days rest but I won't be pushing it.

take care

Hi Travis, I have had a decent rest (if truth be told I was desperate to get some scrolling done) and I have had a look at the pics my brother sent. I have attached the original colour pic and shows how good you are at creating patterns. You really are very good.

Thanks again

thanks don thats a really nice picture and I can see more  detail now by looking at this one because of the colors, with the rocks but I'm glad you like what I have done for you. and I try my best with the patterns I do and I spend a fair bit of time on them ,and I'm so happy I can help out here, along with the other great pattern makers and see different styles of works as will. Its so nice to see everyone working together to help others out with their projects. this is a great place for sure. :)
