  1. I have this exact same saw with the same upgrades. Mine was also made in 1995. I paid around $1000 including the stand in 1995. It is a great saw with full parts support. At some point the seller replaced the upper arm to obtain the quick release. He also changed the upper blade knob. This shows me that he care about his saw. If you look at the saw, check the upper arm for wear. It should not move much side to side. I have replaced the bolt that holds the arm on mine due to wear. All the parts are available. Price is close for a good Hegner. I would think $500 but if you want this saw you are going to make a deal with the seller. $650 is not bad, just not optimal. Correction. I just realized that this is a 22”. Go for it.
  2. I repainted mine and used Kabota Orange. It is a very close match.
  3. A Sheila Landry pattern. I did flatten the bottom; the plan had a rounder bottom. I got permission from the head chef before I cut this one. She painted the backer red.
  4. I just ordered this pattern. Is there a reason that you use a #0 skip tooth blade? I normally use a MGT 3 for almost all my cuttings as it is the most comfortable for me.
  5. A Steve Good pattern from last week.
  6. I have been using Starbond CA glue for years. It is a good quality. Good website with lots of information Starbond.com
  7. A while back, I tried with Grok. It did not seem to understand what we need in a scrollsaw pattern.
  8. I recently ordered parts and had a question. The person on the phone said that she would reach out to the original owner for an answer. So it had been sold at some point. The warehouse pictured on their website looks like a third party distribution center. Advanced machinery must think it is cheaper to have a warehouse ship rather than having their own warehouse employees.
  9. This is for my grandson. He recently got a schnauzer puppy. Pattern is from Woodworkersworkshop.com.
  10. Very nice. The one with the house and sleigh is my favorite.
  11. Baltic Birch. Cedar frame. Sue Mey pattern
  12. Made this for my wife. Steve Good pattern from 8/23/24. 3/4” maple.
  13. There is a man in UK with a lot of repair information about Hegner scroll saws. His Facebook is Hegner A Saw Subject. Here is a link to some of his posts. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=122164891778219647&id=61556589420174
  14. This was a gift for my eight year old grandson. He picked the colors. Cut from poplar. Most of the parts were cut on the scrollsaw. My wife painted using DecoArt acrylic paint and coated using a clear lacquer Plans are from Toymakingplans.com
  15. My local Home Depot in Denton TX has 1000, 1500 and 2000 grit in stock.
