Jim Finn Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 I decided to make this ladybug house when I saw some ladybugs in my planter box. I understand they need a warm and secure place to overwinter. Ladybugs are good at eating plant pests like aphids so I would like to help them survive the winter. No plans, I just saw a photo of one and made it to be similar. Made of 3/4” and 3/8” pine with a screen on the inside on the back for them to cling to. 15” tall and 5” deep and wide. The sponge on the bottom is wet because they need some moisture. I cut the entry slots on the front using a scroll saw. Wilson142, John B, Scrappile and 3 others 6 Quote

Scrappile Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 Yes great idea/job. I find the little ladies in the strangest places. Where will you put this bedroom so they have access and it stays a little warm...? Jim Finn 1 Quote

I am too late with it for this year. Scrappile 1 Quote
