Denny Knappen Posted January 4, 2020 Report Posted January 4, 2020 ArtCrafters now stocks these in tubes of 10. These miniature drill bits are all that you need to drill blade entry holes for even the finest fretwork. We do not stock all sizes, but if there is a size you need I can get it. Scrappile Posted January 4, 2020 Report Posted January 4, 2020 Good catch, Jim. Even when I found them, I did not realize it said blades instead of bits. I just saw twist and thought bits. Quote

ike Posted January 4, 2020 Report Posted January 4, 2020 I have done a lot of fretwork in thelast 35 years and found that you only need 2 size drills 3\64 and 1/16 these are all i use ike amazingkevin 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted January 4, 2020 Report Posted January 4, 2020 @ike,You should say in your statement "I only need 2 size drill bits for what I do". I use at least 4 sizes on most projects and all are smaller that 1/16". Just depends on what type of scrolling you enjoy. OzarkSawdust, Dave Monk, Wilson142 and 1 other 4 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted January 5, 2020 Report Posted January 5, 2020 I use a lot of different bits for the small veining in my car clocks.. many of them have veining cuts for body lines.. I mostly use a #60.. but also use a #58.. The #60 is the smallest bit to use for a Pegas #3 MGT blade and the 58 bit for the #5 The #3 and #5's is about all I use.. If I need a wider kerf than the #3 offers but need a small hole the #60 bit works with a #5 FD-UR which is a wider kerf Quote
