OCtoolguy Posted April 19, 2020 Report Posted April 19, 2020 I just found this one on C/L in Camarillo Ca. Up near Santa Barbara. It has the bench top legs on a home built stand. I'd like to have the legs. Anyway, it might be a great buy for somebody looking for a great saw. https://ventura.craigslist.org/tls/d/camarillo-scroll-saw-rbi-220-vs/7100758002.html Quote
dgman Posted April 20, 2020 Report Posted April 20, 2020 Just an FYI Ray, Camarillo is between Thousand Oaks and Ventura. About 15 minutes from where I live. Quote

I just looked at a map. It's Carpenteria that I get mixed up with Camarillo. My bad. Edited April 20, 2020 by octoolguy Quote
kmmcrafts Posted April 20, 2020 Report Posted April 20, 2020 This isn't one you'd want.. Has the round clamps, problematic motor, problematic hollowed out arms that have been known to bow out of shape.. At least Bushton mention the arm strength issue in one of their videos on their site.. I've never heard of anyone having issue with the arms but they mentioned it in the video.. so must be some folks did..or was a selling pitch to get a new saw, LOL OCtoolguy 1 Quote

I didn't look any farther than that. kmmcrafts 1 Quote

If you could get it cheap.. and swap out the legs and sell it, then our Ultra wouldn't be too tall anymore, LOL.. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

I'd rather be able to sell it complete and throw in the short legs. kmmcrafts 1 Quote
