Popular Post Foxfold Posted June 9, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted June 9, 2020 (edited) We needed a new sign for our gate so I thought I'd have a go. This is my first attempt at 'outset' letters with my router. It's not perfect, but it taught me a lot !! Edited June 9, 2020 by Foxfold amazingkevin, loftyhermes, nickp and 8 others 11 Quote

RabidAlien Posted June 9, 2020 Report Posted June 9, 2020 Its just like insetting the letters, except you're insetting the other side of the line. Looks awesome!! Foxfold 1 Quote
don watson Posted June 10, 2020 Report Posted June 10, 2020 Great job Brenda and all hand made. I would have used my CNC router/mill. I made a plate up for the bowling green recently and it was recessed/engraved letters and they were on a sheet of black acrylic with a gold face, I'll send a pic. Foxfold 1 Quote

spirithorse Posted June 15, 2020 Report Posted June 15, 2020 Great work, Brenda! I have my router on a cheap bench-top router table but, I think some of your pics have convinced me to get a cheap router to use only for the type of work you have just shown. It will take a lot of practice to get to your level but, I think I have the ambition and incentive to try now because of your work. God Bless! Spirithorse Foxfold 1 Quote
