Hey there. I have wild turkeys living in our suburban neighborhood. It's not unusual to see in excess of 20 together. The real problem is my bird feeder, although they do a number on gardens too. I like feeding and watching the cardinals, finch, chickadees, jays, woodpeckers and even robins. But every day the turkeys get all the feed out of the feeder. They're worse than squirrels. No firearm suggestions please, I don't want to PO any of my neighbors. Thanks for reading.

Well Berry, what kind of feeders are you using? Are they elevated?  We use the tube type feeders with four or six Pearces for small birds. We have them hanging from thin poles that the squirrels can’t clime. My biggest problem is the feed attracts vermin. They are eating my tomatoes!

Here's what I have. Both rotate and seem to work well. The log has 5 holes I fill with suet. The squirrels can't get the food but it's fun to watch them try. I doubt turkeys would get into them. The turkeys may bang the green around and make some food fall out, though.

So Berry, are we invited over for Thanksgiving? 😁
