Tomanydogs Posted September 19, 2020 Report Posted September 19, 2020 Really nice Brenda. I bought some bits after you posted your first router piece. I need to get a smaller router I’m anxious to try it. Quote

don watson Posted September 19, 2020 Report Posted September 19, 2020 Thanks for showing Brenda. I have a Dremel 4000 router that I use on my CNC machine. It has those little bits about 20 or 30 degree tips and VERY sharp. I have sent a PM about the 3mm ply, no rush. Don W Quote

You really have a knack for creating with the router! Foxfold 1 Quote
dgman Posted September 19, 2020 Report Posted September 19, 2020 It’s great work Brenda! Question, is it easier to use the router than scrolling? Foxfold 1 Quote

In some respects Yes. But it has it's own set of problems. If you sneeze unexpectedly that darn machine can skid across 3" of wood and fair ruin a piece. Don't ask me how I found out about that The whole 'process' is longer I think. Put pattern on wood, cut outline, clear out what's not needed, apply sanding sealer + wait to dry, apply paint and wait to dry, sand excess paint off, apply laquer and wait to dry. So all in all I find it a little easier and very enjoyable but I do love scrolling. !! Quote
wombatie Posted September 26, 2020 Report Posted September 26, 2020 That is a handsome piece Brenda. Excellent work. Marg Quote
