Dragonkort Posted October 31, 2020 Report Posted October 31, 2020 well im FINALLY getting somewhere with the cnc machine. a nice man on the cnc sight for my cnc machine named Alan is helping us get it set up and working.....he is such a kind careing and paticent man!!! its taken about a week but everything is finall set up and read to go... i had to get the cnc machine off my kitchen table so i could start working on my other projects , so we took this old type writers table and addapted it into a complete cnc center i can wheel around. the cnc machine on top and then all the bits and other things go in the bottom baskits... tomarrow Alan said we can start with the easle program...so im getting closer to being able to use it.... i was planning on just using patterns other people make but he said thats not as easy as it sounds...i didnt think it would be... nothing ever is lol but if we can get one pattern to work im hoping i can make files on a jump drive of every pattern i manage to make with all the information in a folder for each pattern so i can make it again....that im sure will take a long time as i will proubly need help with every pattern i do....but we will see.... pray that i learn the easle and candle programs enough to make things.... and tomarrow if i have time i will take pictures of the woodworking projects i have in progress. amazingkevin and danny 2 Quote
amazingkevin Posted November 1, 2020 Report Posted November 1, 2020 Wow spend some money!!! Don,t worry. Can,t be much harder than using a computer when you first tried. Just jump thru all the hoops and ring all the bells over an over and it will be like second nature to you like Mr. Alan! Your so close to getting it, smell the coffee, take breaks and jump around from one project to another that,s the Dragonkort way!!! Quote
Dragonkort Posted November 2, 2020 Author Report Posted November 2, 2020 lol yes jumping from one project to another is the Dragonkort way. lol drives spike crazy but at 62 i dont see me changing at this stage of the game. lol spike did mention the crafts are getting a bit out of hand again ...so today we started rearraniging things in order to try to get more of my stuff in my 3 rooms and out of the kitchen and living room....he does however know that the floor and tables around my chair will always be cluttered with the different crafts im working on that i can do in my chair .... and i best get at the last of my sewing done real darn soon as hes getting tired of the sewing machine in the livingroom......i'll wait a day or so after getting the sewing machine put away to get out the emboridary machine.....lol Quote
