Hrihori Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 I’ve been given a Skill Scroll Saw. Can’t find a model number. The top arm has a holder which appears to accept a pinless blade. The bottom dose not have the same type of holder. Is this missing a holder? Hrihori OCtoolguy 1 Quote

If you could post a couple, I know someone here can help. And also, welcome to the Village. Quote
Fish Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 At some time Black and Decker bought them out ? Maybe it is the other way around. I'm not sure when it happened. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 Welcome to the village.. Without a idea of the age of the saw.. a model number or some picture of what you have it's pretty much hard to know what you have and what you need.. A lot of the skill brand saws are also rebranded under several different other names.. and depending on what vintage the saw might be.. many of them are basically a Harbor Freight, WEN, and I also think some of them are the same as the Ryobi brand.. These that I speak of are skil models 3330 and 3335.. Maybe a youtube video of these would help you understand what you need.. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Fedido Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Like everyone said, pictures help. On the flip side, I have a Craftsman 13 inch and for three months, couldn't find the data plate. Just as I bought a new saw (new to me) and finally found the data plate on the bottom of the table. that might help you some in getting some info on it. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

Hrihori without picture -this would be my response : some saws have a blade holder which is separate from the saw -some dont - if their is nothing their -guessing a separate holder -if you see a clamp their its not .
