new2woodwrk Posted March 31, 2021 Report Posted March 31, 2021 (edited) We had to drive 3 1/2 hours to get one at a reasonable price. But we did a road trip yesterday, and was able to drive back with our new... TRAILER!!!!! Have it all taped ready to prime (we primed it this afternoon - no pics yet) and paint it tomorrow morning Thanks as always for reading - more pics to come as we build it out! Devin Wilson Posted April 1, 2021 Report Posted April 1, 2021 Looks good when you do the floor mix in some sand with the paint to help out on those rainy show days been a life saver for us. I also put a 5 foot piece of etrack down the side wall to let me tie down my saw or if I'm hauling anything else that I'm standing up meflick, amazingkevin and new2woodwrk 3 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted April 1, 2021 Report Posted April 1, 2021 Great looking trailer.. I'd certainly have one if I was doing shows etc.. But the online gig keeps me busy at home and in the shop making things while people shop.. rather than physically being at a show.. Nice part is no set up and take down.. well actually there is the time it takes to take photos and make the website listing.. but it's a one time thing per listing.. new2woodwrk and amazingkevin 2 Quote
amazingkevin Posted April 2, 2021 Report Posted April 2, 2021 Work at home... makes sense! I don't want to much to do hanging on my head. Some days are good, most days bad! Just biding my time occupying space in the shop. I'm done with the rat race. Wished I knew sooner new2woodwrk 1 Quote

new2woodwrk Posted April 29, 2021 Author Report Posted April 29, 2021 (edited) UPDATE: So I opted instead of painting the floor, to put down rubber matting - and very glad I did! The matting is a little more costly than the painting would have been, however nothing moves on it when driving! Here are a few updated pics of the interior - more to come as I just ordered one side sign One mat laid, front top shelf is removable but have it screwed in to the floor for now Front holds all event items - tables, displays, samples, carts etc. Two mats laid, all 4 e-tracks installed and shelves secured to trailer studs Shelves hold all inventory and misc items. Not shown is a small table I made for working inside when needed. I'll post that on the next update I'm going to put the mat on the ramp as well I think - not sure yet but it is really good stuff Oh and I opted to buy the shelving instead of building it so it is more easily customizable and not built in, in case I want to change things around or use the trailer for other purposes I'll post more updates as I finish Thanks as always in advance for reading Edited April 29, 2021 by new2woodwrk meflick and bobscroll 2 Quote
