I have spent too much on my hobby/obsession as of late and do not dare ask the capital equipment committee for her blessings for another scroll saw.  Maybe someone else will want it.

That is an old saw. It has a lever for tension like a DeWALT saw. I’m guessing twenty years old.

The listing says he bought it new in 2007, turned it on once and has not used it since.  Therefore he is listing it as "New", perhaps an unusual use of the word.  But it should be in good shape.

This saw is not 20 years old I have exactly the same saw and I bought mine in 2009 brand new from a dealer at a wood show

I think that must be about the time they changed. My saw is a 2010 and it has the tension knob at rear.
