Blink Security Cameras....Anybody?

Just recently purchased 3 Blink security cameras......pretty easy setup......crime is rising in our small town......just thought it was necessary going forward...... anybody else have these and how do you like them?

You have to pay for cloud storage yes?

No.....use flash drive for storage

I have Blink. Unless they have improved over the last couple of years they are pretty chintzy. They are built quite flimsy. I'm always afraid of damaging them when changing batteries. The pictures are fairly sharp.

How often do you have to change batteries? Seems like another expense to add to a budget?

I'm not a fan of the mounts......will be upgrading those I believe

I have 4 at my lake home. They are great. I have neighbors on each side that are year round there but I can at least check my boats area if bad weather comes in.

I have had animals knock mine off  the tree. Deer like to lick them also.

Best Buy carries them and other places.

I bought the Wyze cameras. $20 ea. They work great. I also bought the one that rotates for he front porch. I think it was $30. Can't remember. They have memory or you can buy storage. I think I might have $100 in the whole works. I'm in Tennessee and I just checked our home in Cal on my phone.

If I recall, either from Wyze or Amazon.

i was given a 16 camera recorder with two hard drives,got cameras from harbor frieght and a motion senor from the thrift store.it worked out great and it stopped the pavement princess from coming here at the warehouse to play over a year now.
