I finally got my Covid Shot, the Astra Zenica last Thursday and I am still getting over the side effects.  I had the aches and pains for a couple of days but I am feeling so tired and my head feels all muzzy.  Terry was fine his arm didn't even ache.  :curse:

Good going.  I hope you get over the side effects soon.

Side effects for me were also fuzzy head. Mine lasted a day and a half.  But the tiredness was off and on for over a week.

My wife had less effects that I did.

How is the vaccination effort going in Australia Marg?  It got off to a bit of a slow start here, due to demand being much greater than supply, but that seems to be reversing now and the effort has switched to getting reluctant folks to get the vaccine.

I got my 2nd Pfizer shot about a month ago.  I had virtually no side effects from either dose, so I guess I should consider myself lucky.

For a country that got the lock down so right it sure got the vaccinations sooooooooooooooooo very wrong.  Very slow start, more of a limp really.  The government have said that everyone should be vaccinated by the end of the year.

Astra Zenica is for over 50's and Pfizer is for under 50's.  Moderna will be here sometime this year.

That's interesting.  There has been no age distinction made between the three available vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna & J&J) here in the US.  I'm 61 and got the Pfizer.  They've been telling us to get whichever vaccine is most readily available to us.  Now that supplies are sufficient, I've even heard suggestions that mixing 1st & 2nd doses of Pfizer & Moderna vaccines may not be a terrible thing.  A month ago, that was strongly discouraged.

The Mrs. and I got both our shots. Our's was the moderna. I had no side effects other then tenderness when the shot when it. Cindy had some minor side effects that lasted about a week. Our state has lifted most of the restrictions with the rest coming soon.
