Bandsaws are an awesome way to do larger compound cut pieces or make larger projects like rocking horses and scroll with small 1/8” blades.  When it comes to tires I learned a few lessons.  I myself prefer the TIMBERWOLF blades by PSWOODThey use a lot less tension, are extremely sharp, cut straight, turn tight and rake dust very well leaving polished edges.  I have had a few bandsaws and tried different tires after my rubber tires wore out.  I first ordered the Carter Blue urethane tires and my blades no longer fit.  Couldnt understand why.  Then I ordered the urethane tires from PS WOOD.  The orange urethane tires I received from PS WOOD were twice as thick and were the full width of the wheel.  Which is exactly what my rubber tires were when I removed them.  Ever since then never had a problem.  My bandsaws are all Delta 14”.   I hope this can help someone out in ordering the right stuff.

Yah, I was thinking more about the timberwolf blades

I love those timber wolf blades.  If you buy the bostik blade coat and coat them before you use them and use the right blade for the job they are an absolute dream.  They cut perfectly straight clear dust really well.  There is a certain way to set them up on your saw they come with instructions.  They take far less tension to operate so they get tightened only to a certain point.  They turn sharp too.  The 1/8 blade turns on itself.  Its really nice.

Yah, but they don't make them for the size of my saw 😞

If you know your saws size 100 percent and its not for a three wheel small bandsaw you can call and order one.  They have a bargain bin on their website.  Maybe one of those might fit off your lucky

My saw is a 2 wheel Wen 3966T - the blade size 100 3/4" and so far there are only 2 mfg's: Wen and Magnate - magnate seem ok but the shipping is a bit high.

I just broke my first 1/8" blade LOL and had to order another 😞 $17 down the drain so far LOL

PSwood will customize sizes.   Its an upgrade to any saw.  They are very very sharp so be careful unraveling them.  You will get more power out of your wen too.  Are your blade guides metal?

Yes the bearing guides are all metal. I have leather gloves I use to handle blades
