BadBob Posted September 15, 2021 Report Posted September 15, 2021 Steve Good mentioned this in his blog today. The easy way to get to it is to search for "events" in Google. https://www.google.com/search?&q=events Roberta Moreton 1 Quote
Devin Wilson Posted September 16, 2021 Report Posted September 16, 2021 I also use this site. If I find something I like I will do some google searches to find out more information on it instead of paying the fee. https://www.fairsandfestivals.net/ Also search for vendor groups on Facebook. Example in Florida there is one called Vendors Florida Group where promoters will post their events. Just do some due diligence because there are scammers out there. Quote
kmmcrafts Posted September 16, 2021 Report Posted September 16, 2021 I used to use the sight mentioned above as well as a couple others back in the day.. I've only done a handful of shows before going with online selling only.. I'm not much of a sit still and greet customers kind of person.. it was fun don't get me wrong.. but I like to be physically doing something and after about 2-3 hours into a 6-8 hour show.. I'm ready to go do something else.. I'm not much of a television or movie kind of person either unless it's one of those real action packed movies that keep my interest.. Anyway, using those craft fair search sites was nice to get out and go see what other sellers are offering etc.. Quote

I looked up "how to get your event listed" and forwarded the info to the marketing director of the FM I attend, we'll see. Quote
WayneMahler Posted September 20, 2021 Report Posted September 20, 2021 My wife does searches on facebook. She finds all kinds of opportunities for shows. She also belongs to a lot of local groups that share information. We are also connected to a group of crafters that share information. Might be worth looking into and see what results you get. Just a thought. Quote
kmmcrafts Posted September 20, 2021 Report Posted September 20, 2021 Don't know if it's still there or not but Etsy used to show events and you'd search the state or city.. I think it's only on the etsy app for your phone and it would search nearby your location or you could search it by state etc. It's not the sellers app. there was a app I used to have and used very little.. truth be told I was after the sellers app but downloaded the wrong one but kept it for a while.. I no longer have it and not certain what one it was.. been a few years ago now.. But I'd bet for those that use phones a lot.. there's an app for dang near anything.. probably a craft shows app somewhere out there.. IF not.. create it and make some money off the idea, LOL Quote
