Earlier this spring a French Teacher at my school asked me to make an Eiffen Tower for her. I ordered the pattern from Wildwood Designs and have been intimidated ever sense at what I saw. About two weeks ago I took the pattern to the workshop determined to do something with it. There was a lot of cutting but it is done. The piece is about 40 inches high and cut from 1/4 oak plywood. The top is compound cut fro popular that had a green cast to it. It looks good as copper is a common roofing material and copper truns green as it ages.

Have commented on this elsewhere, but, great workk on the Eiffel tower, your efforts will be rewarded when you present it to the teacher and see the look on her face.

Can see why you were a little intimidated, I would have run like hell away from it. Glad you didn't thought you did a marvellous job, well done.
