Finally got it to do what I wanted it to do. Picture is small but that is the best I can do. I started this last night and got it finished tonight, not bad just 24 hours to upload a picture

This is one that was special ordered by a customer of mine. Thanks Birchbark for your pattern, Customer is very pleased. It is cut from 1/2 BC fir plywood. They plan to hank it from a post outside their trailer.

Considering tat we depend on these people to keep us warm with light, I thought I would do these patterns in honour of linesmen. Two of these are Old Crow's (Don's ) patterns. Let me know what you think. I made 5 plaques and have sold two so far. By the way, this is something like what I need for the fireman plaques I have a customer for. (See pattern requests)

These are my latest projects. All customers were very pleased and I know these portraits will be hung with pride and talked about for many years to come. It certainly makes me feel good to do portraits of living people, but in some cases it is painful be for the recipients to discuss their lost loved one. I think that through the process I do help them with their grieving. This young man died in a tractor trailor accident a few years ago. The older gentleman passed on of a heart attach. His grandaughter had it made for her Nan.

I finished this one this week as well. The pattern is from a stainglass site, but i have had it a long time and cannot give credit to the pattern maked. woode used are white pine, cedar, oak. birch, purple heart, and another that I forget the name to. It is approximately 12X18inches

Thanks Madendra and Gordie, the patterns your guys supplied were great. My wife liked the heart shaped with a few modifications. We think mit turned out fantastic. Thanks again for your help.

I have been a member of this forum since 2010. but for the past few years I have gotten away from visiting as much as I used to. My name is Clyde, I am from Spaniard's Bay, Newfoundland, Canada. "AKA The Rock". I just recently retired after 27 years as a Special Education. I have an EX21 and I plan to start making some serious saw dust. I have tried my hand at pattern making, but I suck at it. This years goal will be to learn GIMP and Inkscape.

I would like to do a D-6 trachor. The older type with the flat top. That is what my father drove back in the 60's. Any idea where to get a pattern?

Earlier this spring a French Teacher at my school asked me to make an Eiffen Tower for her. I ordered the pattern from Wildwood Designs and have been intimidated ever sense at what I saw. About two weeks ago I took the pattern to the workshop determined to do something with it. There was a lot of cutting but it is done. The piece is about 40 inches high and cut from 1/4 oak plywood. The top is compound cut fro popular that had a green cast to it. It looks good as copper is a common roofing material and copper truns green as it ages.

This is my latest piece, seems like it took forever to finish and had the potential to be destined for fire wood on many occasions. But here it is.

Hi folks, I'm starting an intarisa piece, the magnolia door topper that was featured in one of the SSWC mags last year. This will be my first intarsia piece in about two years. I began with intarsia and segmentation about 6 years ago, but moved toward fretwork since then. When I bought the mag my wife said she would like to have one of them, Soooo, she doesn't know, but. Going to get some browny points for this one Ya can never have too many browny points, cause ya don't know when ya going to screw up.

I looked at the site for the lumber, prices seem reasonable with a great assortment. I am thinking I will place an order. I have always used 1 inch stock for intarsia with very little selection to choose from. , that is all I can get locally. Thanks for sharing.
