Dan Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Here's my latest pen. I started working on it two months ago but was afraid of casting it. Overall it came out good. The fish were scrolled and glued to the pen tube. I then cast it in Alumilite Clear and tinted blue. Alumilite is sweet to work with. This is on a Titanium Gold Gatsby. Thanks for looking. Dan Quote
Clayton717 Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 very cool looking Dan. the possibilties are endless when casting Quote
Oges Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 You guys always amaze me with the creative things you come up with for your pens, another fine example Quote
Travis Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 That's pretty neat. I never thought of scrolling a figure to glue to the tube and filling the rest with resin. I always think the other way around and scroll the figure out of the wood, and fill the figure in with resin. Giving me some ideas now. Good job! Quote
