savethebeer Posted December 15, 2021 Report Posted December 15, 2021 This gave me a laugh, I broke my band saw blade 2 weeks ago. Found the manual at the back of the shelf and it said blade should be 1790mm. Was time wasting on my computer a few days later and had a thought about bandsaws, so I started searching about saws, then blades, then after many minutes and just for the hell of it I just double checked my own model of bandsaw and it said 1790mm. The other day went to my supplier and got a 1790 blade. So I tried, off and on, for two days to fit the blade but it was too short. 10 minutes ago I started a phone call to my supplier regarding the possibility that the blade manufacturer might have made a mistake in their labeling process, as part of the call I answered questions regarding model number and rating etc. and happened to find the little information panel stuck to the back of the saw. Whilst squinting at it to read serial numbers etc I saw a blade symbol that said 1820mm. So even googling and the supplied manual still sends me in wrong direction. oldfa_t, Gordster and LarryEA 3 Quote

Here in Iowa, a weather guesser will say, "The temperature tomorrow will be __________ ". Next they show temps for the whole week & it's a different number. They also use the expression, "Clouds overhead". Whenever I want to look at a cloud, I often look UP. Quote
