Cardinal pair

Just finished this Cardinal pair, pattern by Judy Gale Roberts Intarsia. My first time using Boodwood (right side bird and feathers on the left bird). Wow, that was some tough cutting. The rest red parts are Redheart. Aspen for the branch and Poplar for the leaves. Walnut frame and Butternut all the other parts.

wow.   those birds claws look like they curl around the a branch.  The second pic shows the claws are solid pieces down to backer. 

The branch "y" looks so real. 

Stunning wood color.
