I've set up a booth at a yard sale, a horse trail ride and at a tach swap, but today was the first time I set up for a "real" craft type event. My stock was low due to some sales the week before at the tach swap but overall, I feel I did pretty darn good. By the time I set up people started coming by and it didn't slack off for four and a half hours. I made some really good sales, picked up a few commissions, and was able to get some money in the till for supplies as well as stowing some away for future equipment. But what I really enjoyed more than anything was talking to the people about the joys of scrolling. I guess being an instruction/trainer for so many years while I was in law enforcement started coming out and the people seemed genuinely interested in the hobby. What's more, a lot of the kids I spoke to were really interested. Hopefully I sparked enough interest that one of them will pick up the craft rather than picking up alcohol while driving or experimenting with a drug.

I'm zapped of energy, but it was well worth it. I know this post doesn't mean a lot to others, but I felt so good about today I had to tell someone. And who better to tell than my fellow scrolling friends. Thanks for the read!
