Spindle Sander Tip...maybe

I'm not a fan of Harbor Freight tools, but I did buy an oscillating spindle sander from them over 10 years ago and it still works fine. Here's the tip...I put a sanding sleeve on the rubber but for some reason I couldn't get it off. maybe the rubber has swelled a bit during use or maybe some dust got between the rubber and the sleeve. Whatever the case, it just wouldn't come off. Then I remembered a trick we used years ago. I stuck it in the freezer for a few hours. When I took it out of the freezer, the sleeve slid right out. Not sure if anyone else has run into this but maybe it'll be useful at some point.

Thanks, Dan. I'm sure that tip will serve well for other that HF sanding sleeves, as well.

There's probably a really inappropriate comment about things shrinking when they get cold, but HR won't let me say those anymore.

That reminds me of that old Seinfeld skit with George getting caught naked after swimming. "There's shrinkage!""
