Pinterest has a pattern.  It is just a head shot but looks nice.

Welcome to the Village from North Carolina, Stuart. If you have a picture of the specific dog rather than a generic breed, maybe one of the pattern makers could make you a pattern. I'm sure that would make it more personalized if you're cutting it for an individual.

Thank you all for the welcome and the replies. I've looked at your suggestions and I'm sure that I'll find what I'm looking for now.

Its a gift for a cabinet maker that has kindly donated some baltic birch ply to me and sadly I don't have a photo of the particular pet.
