kmmcrafts Posted May 2, 2023 Report Posted May 2, 2023 Congrats Tony, I've been trying to figure out how I've been married 30 years this next Sept. but I'm only 29 years old, somehow my math is wrong.. must be the wood dust got to me brain.. If I ever became single again I'd marry again but I'm almost certain it'd be a downgrade from what I have now and I'm not one to settle for something so I feel like I'd probably be single for the rest of my years. Won't say never happen but.... amazingkevin 1 Quote

Joe W. Posted June 2, 2023 Report Posted June 2, 2023 Congrats! We just returned from a family wedding a few days ago. Every time we go to a wedding, as I'm sitting there watching it take place, I think back to when we got married and how lucky I am to be married to the woman sitting beside me. May all your days be filled with contentment. bobscroll 1 Quote
Bill WIlson Posted June 2, 2023 Report Posted June 2, 2023 Congratulations and best wishes to you and your bride. The last wedding I went to was my wife's nephew. It was in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. Anyway, the DJ started the anniversary dance, inviting all married couples to the dance floor and then having them take their seat, based on wedding anniversaries in 5 year increments. As the crowd got whittled down, I started looking around, wondering where all the "old people" were. It was getting close to the end and the wife & I were still on the floor. We ended up as the last couple on the dance floor, with the longest marriage (42 years, at the time). Man, it really hit me at that moment. I was now one of the "old people". bobscroll 1 Quote
