JessL Posted May 18, 2023 Report Posted May 18, 2023 (edited) An old friend of my Dad's wants me to make him a scroll saw pattern with his yellow lab that passed away a few years back. He saw the one I did of Stella the rotty and wants one for his old boy he always called Baily Dog. I have one started but am having trouble with connections to make it a scroll saw pattern. Been playing with it on Rapid Resizer and I'm just having trouble with it. I would love some assistance on this. I really suck at these kinds of programs.... Thanks in advance! grampa Posted May 19, 2023 Report Posted May 19, 2023 Hi Jess, Any chance of the photo of the dog .....PAUL Quote
JessL Posted May 19, 2023 Author Report Posted May 19, 2023 I do not have an actual photo of Baily Dog. I just remember he was an old boy, friendly and little over weight. The friend, Doug, said he didn't have a photo handy so I'm trying to wing it. This is a photo I was playing with Labrador head tilt2.pdf Quote
Dak0ta52 Posted May 19, 2023 Report Posted May 19, 2023 Jess, I don't know how this will do. I happened to do this pattern the other day but to be honest, I haven't cut it. From my tests it is a cuttable pattern. While it looks complicated, most of the cuts are small. If you decide to cut it and find areas that need bridges added, please let me know and I'll do what I can to correct it. I've included a plain black and a gray/red pattern. I typically change my patterns to gray/red because, to me, it is easier to see the blade cutting along the line. This would probably work for an 8X10 blank or you can enlarge it if you wish. don watson, JessL, JackJones and 1 other 2 2 Quote
