Dak0ta52 Posted June 25, 2023 Report Posted June 25, 2023 This was my second attempt at creating a Bandsaw Box. The first was a 2-drawer and was quickly claimed by my wife. These are a little tricky in that you have to make certain cuts before making others. This was done with birch plywood sandwiched between popular. The box itself was stained with Espresso and the drawers were stained with natural. It was all cut on the bandsaw except for the drawer pulls which were cut on the scroll saw. I finished it with about a dozen coats of Polyacrylic with light sanding using 600 grit sandpaper between coats. These are a lot of fun to make however they do require a lot of gluing and many hours of sanding. Scrappile, JackJones, Jronn65 and 5 others 8 Quote
Scrappile Posted June 25, 2023 Report Posted June 25, 2023 Super, I have alway wanted to try one of those, along with 6K other things I would like to try. But these boxes always intrigue me. This is a nice one. Dak0ta52 1 Quote
