  1. May the "Godfather of scroll" Rest in peace! Sorry sorry to hear this. Used so many of his patterns. Very sad day!
  2. well, saw this online and thought it would make a nice sign to hang in my office. A good day of fishing is always something to celebrate!
  3. some of these i've posted already, not sure about others. All are Sue Mey patterns. birch wood, spiral blades. Cedar base on some. Pine base on others.
  4. So, I did and posted this project a few years back but decided to try it again and add lights to it. Baltic birch wood and spiral blades used. They both have backers made out of scrap plexie glass, but the brown one, the glass is from an old X-Ray view box that was being trashed at my hospital. People thought I was crazy for dumpster diving for it and I told them that it would come in handy one day. I love the way it hides the wires. The blue one, I used so spray "frost" on it. It doesn't hide the wires as good as the other but still cool, if you ask me.
  5. sue mey always comes up with new christmas patterns each year. Wood is usual birch and cut with spiral blades
  6. Steve Good pattern. Nice way to use up some scrap wood.
  7. I guess I wasn't smart enough to realize you were actually reading the cover. Thanks. I may have to let this go or wait on a better price.
  8. so no one knows what's in this book? Is Rolf correct? It only has 2 patterns in it?
  9. It's used for 25 bucks. I thought it's high for a used book but I did see it offered on eBay for 60. It doesn't show a preview so I'm just wondering if it's a story of schwibbogen or a book of patterns
  10. I made this one last year and posted it here. This time, the story is about these lights. I found these on amazon as I was looking for a multicolored string. I can't post everything these things will do but I'm loving it! The add states there is 16 million different combination of colors with it. It connects by an app using Bluetooth. I paid 5 bucks for this on sale! And the project, Baltic birch, #1 spiral blade, oak stain with a cedar base. 6D9F1C10-B896-4227-B291-1315AC1155AF.MOV 7523878F-702D-40B0-BF50-605A173478C0.MOV 27C14D35-9496-4F67-AFA5-CB469EC5CC34.MOV
  11. I was wondering if anyone has viewed this book? Is it worth the price?
  12. I've been on a Christmas topic for a while. This another Sue Mey pattern to share.
  13. Steve put this pattern out a few weeks ago and I thought it was funny, so I gave it a try. Just piece of pine scraps used and most of the cutting was done on my band saw. If I would have thought about it sooner, I would have drawn a line in the toes to make it look like it had flip flops on! I'm guessing that the top is supposed to be shaped like a butt! The feet on Steve's go in opposite directions, guess it really doesn't matter.
