  1. Getting to where supporting and encouraging others seems to be more important these days. To make more of a difference in someone else’s live when daily challenges seem almost impossible. Plaques with Gods word hopefully will be an encouragement. Have a Great Day Chris H.
  2. Excellent work for a excellent pass time he will keep this many years
  3. Excellent cutting looks great Chris H
  4. Welcome to the village start with something simple and not to time consuming practice your inside and outside cuts let the saw do the cutting. When it becomes difficult to stay on the pattern change blades a worn blade can sometimes cause you to go off course. Before you know it you to will have little helpers who want to do things to help the project along. Glad you got your saw worked out Chris Harden Lawrenceville Ga
  5. Thankful for the blessings the Lord Jesus has placed on our family. Hope all has a Blessed Thanksgiving.
  6. Everyone’s projects are really nice. Here’s a few things that are going on for Christmas. Yall have a Blessed Thanksgiving!
  7. Always thought of getting a Hegner does anyone have a preferred dealer for Hegner?
  8. Here is some information that may be useful. I was not able to copy the link on the ol’ iPad so do aserch on the following. Tuning Your Excelsior Or Excalibur Scroll Saw Excalibur & Related Scroll Saws Sheila Landry
  9. As new as your saw is I agree with JTTHECLOCKMAN
  10. Rotate the shaft that you see on the end of the motor with a screwdriver. You may have to go to the next set of slots to achieve satisfactory results.
  11. Attached a photo on the amount I adjusted the motor.
  12. I have a Excalibur and it had to be adjust as did kmmcrafts saw. Rotating the motor to allow for the blade to move straight up and down helps tremendously. I put PEGAS blade holders on my saw to reduce the weight of the original Excalibur blade holders, this took even more vibration out. I place my blade in the upper blade holder consistently in the same position when I change the blade even if it is a different size blade. Also I keep the screws on the upper and lower arms at a loose snug tightness, the tighter these screws are the more vibration my saw has. When the upper arm is parallel to the table I have marked the tension knob with white paint, and turn it consistently almost every time. I know these saws have different names but it seems as if the mechanics of the linkage are almost the same. I hope the best for ya.
  13. Well another year has past and life has got in the way again, sorry about that to everyone that has replied to the post I placed here. I’ll try to do better, I retired in April so The old Excalibur has been chewing up more wood. I want to post some more pics but I don’t remember how to start a new post so advice is appreciated. A Hay y’all have a very Blessed Thanksgiving Hay does anyone know if and where the image of the cats and mouse puzzle is available? Chris
  14. Thanks for the reply’s from everyone I’ve thought about selling my RBI saw but I’m having a hard time bringing myself to do it. It is nice to have good folks to talk to about scroll sawing, I have something on the saw table maybe I’ll have it finished cutting and then painted, I’ll post pics when I get finished. Yall take care!!!!!!!
  15. Thanks for the replys and just ordered a pin nailer with 3/8 inch pins. Have been using 1/8 inch baltic birch for Christmas ornaments. I like to cut multiple peices of this plywood and have been using two sided carpet tape but sometimes it wants to stick to me more than the wood. I just used the last of a stick and release tape from the Winfield Collection and they still have this product I have been using this to adhere patterns to the wood, but I am going to look for an alternative due to the price tag. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Not sure how to turn the picture still learning. Have a Great Weekend!!!!!!
