kmmcrafts Posted August 30, 2023 Report Posted August 30, 2023 Been adding a few new products on Amazon the last few days. Today while doing a new listing it had a option to get listing help with title so I thought I'm going to see what it's about and so I tried it. You type in 200 or less characters to say what it is you're listing and it generated a title and I thought that was it, just a title but then when I get to the description section it also filled that all out too. Hmm.. I'm not sure if I'll keep it as it's not really my style but then who knows maybe it'll help with sales, LOL It's funny how they can have all that but new products take up to 24 hours to actually show up on the site, and if you edit a listing it takes a hour of so to have the change be reflected.. Better hope you don't make a mistake and price something way too low.. you might sell out before amazon makes the change go live, Etsy probably needs to incorporate the AI.. If they do they'll probably make it a requirement and then charge you for using it, LOL Quote
BadBob Posted August 30, 2023 Report Posted August 30, 2023 I have used both Google Bard and ChatGPT for this. They work but make many mistakes and are too fluffy for my taste. They do better if you give them lots of info but tend to get even more fluffy. You need to proofread them closely because they will say some incredibly stupid things. I have found that they are good for brainstorming for keywords and tags. ChatGPT is best at this. It will give you up to 100 suggestions if you ask it right. Bard is more limited but still worth looking at. Gramerly has one built-in. kmmcrafts 1 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted August 30, 2023 Author Report Posted August 30, 2023 Yeah, in my opinion there is room for a LOT of improvement with this.. On one hand I was kind of impressed for the first listing I did.. but the second listing it was total crap and I needed to just write my own stuff. In my view you have to give it so much info that I might just as well do the whole thing myself.. Probably will get better over time but right now it needs a lot of improvements. I have not messed around at all with AI or any of the similar stuff. I have read some about it but really don't know how it works or where to find apps in order to use it, LOL.. it's all foreign to me. I need to spend some time learning more about it because I think this is going to be the go to stuff in the near future. Quote
BadBob Posted August 30, 2023 Report Posted August 30, 2023 OpenGPT Bard Grammarly has an AI, but you must be a paying customer to use it. Basically, they just look stuff up and combine it using a set of rules. Quote
