Messman Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 Man I have been busy...I have been trying to get over my illness, work on a box for a friend. She wants it for her boy friend, they are both in the SCA (they get dressed in middle age garb and beat the crap out of each other with wooden swords) and her boyfriend is getting knighted soon. So I have been designing and building her the box. I have had a meeting with a local museum about building a display case for them and I am in the process of trying to design that, I am also working on a memorial cutting for a relative who had a very close friend pass away recently, I have got to get started on another massive bread board, Trying to finish up the second part of my 2 part video series of making a bread board, and I am working on several other woodworking video's. And just for fun lets put my full time job, my part time cleaning business, and family responsibilities in the mix. Man I need a personal assistant just to keep everything that I need to do straight. Oh yea and my brother in law just deployed and I have to over see a contractor that will be starting a major project in his back yard. HELP PLEASSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Quote
Travis Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 Wow! That is a TON of projects! And I thought I overbook myself! Get a couple smaller projects off your plate and that might make things a bit less stressful. Good luck, and don't crack! Quote
Messman Posted April 26, 2012 Author Report Posted April 26, 2012 Naw I won't crack, I am to dang tick headed for that. I didn't book myself all this, well maybe I did a little. But the box I am working on is something that I planned on, as well as the bread board. The possible museum project is something that they have been talking to me about for years now, but they final decided to move on it and it caught me off guard. Of course the passing of my Aunts friend was not planned, the overseeing of the B-I-L's back yard thing was thrown into my lap, and the video's are projects that I am working on as I do shop work, so that adds time to the projects. Everything will get done, probably not as fast as everyone wants it done, but ohhh well, I guess they will just have to deal with it. Quote
