Looking for a used Pegas or Seyco in the South Florida Area.  PalmBeach to Key Largo.  Used to own a Hawk but had to sell due to moving.  Now I have a small shed which would be ideal to do some scrolling.

Don't see too many of them up for sale yet.. but they do pop up on marketplace from time to time. You might also check for refurbished ones. I know Bearwood was selling a refurb. Pegas for a couple hundred less than new at one time. Not sure if they still doing that or not.

Thanks Keven, I think you are right.  Will expand my search parameter to include the Dewalt.  Still would like to buy used.

Happy days are here again.  Was perusing the scroll saw forums, and can't remember which one but a guy wrote in that Home Depot had the Dewalt Scroll Saw with stand for $391.00.  Looked further and found out that Home Depot offers 10% off for Veterans.  So down to $352.00 and then if you open up a Home Depot Credit Card you get a $50. off of your purchase, so it is down to $302.00.  Could not let this go by.  Delivery is set for next week.

I am planning on using it in a storage shed and was wondering if any one could tell me the total height of the saw and legs. Want to make sure I can close the lid on the shed.

Humm that is a good deal.  In fact, good enough that in a year or so you decide you want to up grade, you will be able to get most if not all of your money back on it. Congrats, you should like that saw.

I can't remember how tall mine was.. But it was plenty taller than my Excalibur is.. I had the rear leg extended up on my DeWalt so it was at an angle for easier sawing. 

You did great on the price.. that is how I got mine too but that was way back in 2008.. I sold it in 2017 for $250 I think I paid $320 for it during Grizzly's holiday sales event.

Well the saw and stand are to high for my little shed.  So the stand is for sale.  Asembled and ready to go. $50.00. I am located in Miami, FL.
