Hubby does the cutting I do the painting.  Several pieces were cut on the scroll saw.  Hubby is just starting to use a scrollsaw and asked for my old Craftsman.  Work well for him, I just have to keep him in blades......................lol

So cute.  I joined a group on FB about bird houses a short time ago.. I do not like Facebook but there are some good groups on there.. Bird houses are fun to build and when done the real fund begins.  Watching the bird..   What are you painting them with?  I haven't found something that lasts long on bird houses or whirligigs.  I love building both.

I used my acrylic paints. I then put several coats of exterior sealer on them.  We will see how well the paints hold up. In the meantime I am going to try and track some good exterior paint and sealer. I have glass jars saved so I can mix my own colors.   Which birdhouse group on faceook did you join?  I joined Birdhouse builders community and  Birdhouses made by hand.  Did you join the Whirlgig group I love Whirlgigs? They have some awesome looking gigs.

It's called "handmade custom bird houses". I also follow "birdhouse builders community".
