I'm Back

Hi everyone I'm back after my mammoth 13 week holiday. We got back on Sunday and I think we still have a touch of jet lag but it is getting better. We had a fabulous time and caught up with lots of friends and relatives, most of them we had not seen in 36 years. We also did a lot of sightseeing and went to places we had never been to before. It certainly was a trip to remember but its good to be home. It may take me a while to catch up on all the posts but I'm looking forward to it. Oh and while I was away I think I convinced my cousins husband to buy himself a scroll saw, because he really liked what I do, so we may get a new member soon. lol

Wow 13 weeks! That is some kind of vacation or holiday as you call it. I use to feel bad at work taking 3 weeks during the year, and keeping one on the books in case needed. (company only gave you vacation days off, didn't get any sick days)

Whens the next outing!

My husband get sick leave, annual holidays of 4 weeks and long service leave and because he's been a maintenance carpenter for the same hospital for 35 years he as 11weeks ong service leave still to take and if he stays to get 40years in he will get another 8 weeks long service leave. Kevin we are going to New Zealand in the next couple of years with a bit of luck but next year we are going to Tasmainia.
