kmmcrafts Posted November 14, 2024 Report Posted November 14, 2024 My son works for the county road crew as a mechanic.. he was wanting me to make a ornament for the road sign repair guy.. I'm not finding any clipart that would work for what he is wanting. He specifically asking for a stop sign with a person on a ladder repairing it and then having another sign in the background like maybe a yield sign or something also having some space to engrave a name on it. I can't seem to find any clipart with anything like this on it to try making my own pattern but thought I'd ask if one of our great designers might be able to come up with something similar to what I described.. Thanks in advance for anyone that might be able to take a stab at it, Quote

He's not on a ladder but that and a yield sign could be added????? Yeah this image is way too dark and too small to work with for me anyway.. I'm not very good at picture to pattern type editing though.. When I say I'm having trouble finding clipart I usually mean like SVG files or black and white graphics and not just a photo.. since I cannot do the photo to pattern transformation very well. I looked into converting this image into black and white and just engrave it with the laser rather than making a pattern to scroll saw but again the image is just not very good quality for that either. Thank you for trying to help though.. ChelCass 1 Quote
ChelCass Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 Actually, my thought was just to give Grandpa or other pattern makers something visual to work with. Hopefully someone will be able to help you out. kmmcrafts 1 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted November 15, 2024 Author Report Posted November 15, 2024 Oh okay yeah that make sense I guess, I do think the image would work for what I need if it was turned into a scrollable ornament.. or even a nice black and white image where I could engrave it.. For me and my limited skills there is too many shadows from the shade of the tree I couldn't get a good B/W image either. ChelCass 1 Quote
