Quite a setup you have.  The last picture, the disk behind the chuck, is that for indexing?  I look at your floor and remember why I quit the lathe in my little shop.  What a mess I created.

Yes that is my indexing setup I made. I can go into my CAD program and print any number I need in a few minutes.

Very beautiful piece.  I think these "Basket weave" turnings are my favorites.  I can see where that could make you cross-eyed!

Check this one out.  This was done by my Turner friend, and I find it pretty amazing.  Segmented with a twist.  I have been thinking of joining the Turner club. It is very active, and I like to being around woodworkers, no matter their discipline.   Been to a couple of their meetings, and it was fun.
