Longhorn Puzzle

Longhorn Puzzle. First a short story. Here in East Tennessee, there are many cattle farms, but no Longhorns. On the way to church, there is a farm with Longhorns. They are magnificent animals. What a joy.

The pattern is by Harvey Blyer. I used 3/4" Poplar 6" x 10". Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #3 MGT Blades. Next time I might use a Pegas #4 Super Skip Blade. After a light sanding with a Mac Mop, dipped in diluted Shellac, and another light sanding. Comments welcome.

Here in Texas we see them all the time.  They are magnificent animals.  And that is a beautiful puzzle rendition of a longhorn.  

Is the pattern available and where can I find it?

Hi Barb.

I wanted to see if something between #3 and #5 would work.  I use #3 for a tight fit and #5 for a looser fit.
