Popular Post Denny Knappen Posted August 18, 2025 Popular Post Report Posted August 18, 2025 The pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in the current issue of SWWC. I used 1/2" solid Walnut for the upright and 3/4" solid Walnut for the base. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 MGT blades for the interior cuts and Pegas #3 for the exterior cuts. After sanding, dipped in diluted Shellac, sanded again to get rid of the drip marks. A final coat of spray Lacquer Clear Satin. Comments welcome. FrankEV, wombatie, Dak0ta52 and 9 others 12 Quote

FrankEV Posted August 19, 2025 Report Posted August 19, 2025 Nice work! Eagles are always a favorite subject. JFYI, the photo was taken looking slightly on a down angle which makes a lot of the cutting work disapear. I know you wanted to show the base, but I would have prefered to see the cutting work. IMHO, the photo should have neen taken centered on the Eagle and square to the vertical face of the cutting. Quote
