EX-21 switch

Is there , or has anyone had a problem with saw  dust in the switch in their EX-21?   I never have until today.  I lost the cover for the switch awhile ago and had no problem until now.  If I need to where can you get a new switch?  Any idea of the price?

I have not had that problem with my Excalibur clone (Pegas).  But I suggest that you contact the good folks at Seyco.  They seem to have answers for EX related issues as well as a good supply of repair parts.

I've always bought my parts from Seyco because they seem to have most of them on their website and usually they have them right in stock and ready to ship out. Other sources have always had to order the part in or ship direct to you which I don't like..

I didn’t have this issue on an Excalibur, however it is common on a Dewalt. 
the solution is:

Unplug the saw. Put the switch in the on position, blow the switch out with compressed air a couple times. Try again. If/when you get ir working again, hook up an on/off foot switch and cover the switch with packing tape. Seal well.  I hope it works for your situation.

If you are using a foot switch. You could bypass the switch, but it's probably better to replace it.

I use a foot pedal and leave the switch on.  Both on the EX21 and Pegas with no problems.  I have the Pegas Switch and cover in stock.
