Popular Post Dak0ta52 Posted October 8, 2025 Popular Post Report Posted October 8, 2025 Hello all. I haven't posted a lot lately but still doing some scrolling when I have the chance. Had to put my mom in an assisted living facility and now getting things ready to sell her house. The wife took vacation to go to PA to see her mother so I took vacation to stay home and catch up on things as well as animal sit all our critters. During this vacation I finally was able to sit at the saw and knock out this covered bridge that I had purchased the pattern from Wooden Teddy Bear. The face is cut using 1/8 Baltic Birch and stained with Ipswich. The backer is 1/4 Pine ply stained Pure Black. Both were sprayed with several coats of Polyacrylic with light sanding between coats. The frame is Pine and also sprayed with Polyacrylic. This was a fun cut and it sure was nice to create some dust again. jerry walters, bobscroll, RabidAlien and 14 others 15 2 Quote

Scrappile Posted October 8, 2025 Report Posted October 8, 2025 Why did you start with something so easy? Just kidding, and you certainly did not lose your touch while you were away. Great picture. Dak0ta52, Fab4 and jerry walters 1 2 Quote
Denny Knappen Posted October 9, 2025 Report Posted October 9, 2025 That sure looks like a challenging piece. Might fine and framed too! Dak0ta52 1 Quote
