Zorro1958 Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 Hi everyone... I have a strange request that I hope someone can help me with. I am trying to find a western type scene to put on my workshop. A silhouette (or line drawing of a silouette) that can be printed on many sheets of paper, then taped to the wall to make a really large scene. I have found some great "tiny" ones but they severly distort when blown up. I plan to build a small fire pit out from the building, and will add low lighting to the wall at night. I think it would look pretty cool if I can do it correctly. I plan on just using black paint. Oh yeah, I have 2 smaller silhouettes of cowboy/cowgirl boots I plan to put on each side of the doors in front. We live kinda out, so I think it will fit in alright. I had a pattern (years ago) but have lost it through several moves - and it was for a smaller bldg. I thought about trying to find a projector (the old school house type) and tracing on the wall, but I haven't found one to try it with - and, I'm not sure if it would work without distortion due to the size. My workshop is 24' long, so I hope to get a pattern that is in the neighborhood of between 4 to 5 (6?) feet high between 16 to 18 feet long I am attaching photo's of my workshop, plus, some examples of pics I found on the net which as I said, are way too small but gives an idea of what I am looking for. They are for reference only. If you have ideas, or can help with this, I would appreciate hearing from you. Suggestions???? Think it's too big? Too small? Other? Quote
amazingkevin Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 A quick fix is to freehand the biggest parts of the picture ,mountains ,trees and then just blow up the smaller ons to fit .You could graph it out too to make it come out like you want. Quote
