Saturday coffee is on

Hi all

Well, it is gettin colder here in Western Wisconsin. We closed our little place in the woods this past week and shut down water etc. I have a lot goin on so it is good. I put coffee on, help thyself. We have two grandsons for weekend. They are sleeping now as it's only 5:15 am. Trying to get laundry done now, have a meeting at 10 for church, then I have to elder at a wedding this afternoon. I haven't had time to do any scrolling lately. After Monday maybe I will. I have to sign up for new health care as my company I retired from 12 years ago dropped our health insurance starting next year. Fun.....have a nice weekend everyone.

Good Morning, Bill  Coffee sounds good to me... getting a bit chilly here, too, in Michigan.

 

So sorry to hear about the health care concern.  I'll keep my comments to myself as to the who's what's & why's of it.  I will say this, though: It's a real shame, and a lot of people are going to be in your same boat.

 

My woodworking has been so limited, I almost can't even say I do it at all these days.  However, looking to change all that here, hopefully after this flooring is done.  Made a couple mental changes in the layout of the new trailer, just have to inform KEN of these changes     Also have to see about the electric connection on this thing-not real sure on it.  I don't think it has the correct cord on it-almost like someone changed it out.  Seems a bit small to me.  We'll see.

 

Enjoy the grandsons   We have ours today while his mommy is at work.  He'll be riding his bike around the aisleway at the storage unit, or helping Nana clean out Beastie today.

 I'll be putting new hinges on the rear window of the Suv. before the hinges totally break and I have to get glass.

Thanks for the coffee Bill. Mad rush today, Had to go into med centre to get my flu jab(they insist on you having it when you are diabetic) then had to look on the internet to find somewhere to get my M.O.T. test done today I found out thismorning I had my dates wrong and it ran out on the 11th - oops I've been driving illegally for a week now

It's a little chilly in Iowa. Down to about 36 degrees. Saturdays are my scrolling days. I still work about 50 to 55 hours a week. I hear you on the health insurance issue and enough said     .  Enjoy those grandkids and remember we can spoil them and then send them home     .

Thx for the coffee.  Cool and damp here as had rain last night and expect our first frost this next week.  Have finally been able to get in the shop a little.  Found out that you better have plenty of blades if you are cutting purple heart.  Is surely purty but oh so hard.

Morning all,  It a bright crisp morning here In Michigan's beautiful U.P.  Need to mulch leaves again so I can find the dog poop without stepping in it...................lol   Have been doing a bit of scrolling each day, the colder weather keeps me inside more.  Neighbors are finally here to take out their two boats and dock.  They are usually the last to do so.

 

Hey Bill just FYI I went with an insurance broker when I needed insurance, didn't cost me a penny and he found me the best deal for the money.  Saved me a lot of time and aggravation.    Just a thought!

I was burning paint off an old door today but had to stop due to thunder storm it's the

Quite cold here in south florida with a whooping 96 degrees!Tryed to stay inside where it 70 degrees.Had my second cup of instant this morning.then outfitted my kia sportage with basic hand and electric tools that haven't been used since the start of the recession 7 years ago . thousands of customers quit calling. Now my land lady is swamping me with work EVERYDAY. It's tough to get up and go after 7 years of just scrolling. but i'm trying.Dug thru boxes to find tools .Now the land lady tells me shes going to sell the house,ugh! I just unloaded the ware house and now she tells me this.
