ChelCass Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Morning all, Just a bagel and a cup of tea this morning, thanks Kev. Well get got a couple inches of snow and it is 24 degrees going to 30. Forecasting 40's rest of the week. Sigh!! Working on my third winter scarf and got another ornament done, so moving right along. Girl's nite out tonight, already baked caramel cupcakes with pecan frosting. Need to make some brownies for the Ladies meeting tomorrow. Baking season is on and my freezer is to full to store anything. Guess I could put them in the garage. Ahhh well, have a great day everybody. Quote
amazingkevin Posted November 12, 2013 Author Report Posted November 12, 2013 lol doyle, I remember those days 12 years in Milwaukee. You'd just shovel the thick foot of snow off the side walk and here comes the snowplow and put 10 times that amount back on the side walk for you from the street, lol Boy did that ever frost me! Judy I'll have to put bagels on my list as I know your fond of them. Set the caramel cupcakes in the window to cool and within my reach! sweetsaw 1 Quote

sweetsaw Posted November 15, 2013 Report Posted November 15, 2013 Mush is cornmeal, water. salt & flour cooked & thickened. Let it set till firm, fry in butter and serve with syrup or we like apple butter with it. This is similar to the Italian dish, polenta. Quote
