Well there's so much grass, here's a quick go at it there's loads of cuts I would cut what looks good as you go.

Wait and see what other come up with

Good to see you very motivated on this topic, horses are amazing animals, I love them, I got this picture from the web, not to much info about him, but from my point of view he is a Ointo Horse, can you see the white part above his knee? This is not allowed in other horse, what do you think?

Alas, I worked on the horse for like seven hours just needed to add some grass at the bottom,and my program closed on me and i hadn't saved a thing.

should always save often.

 

looks like some nice patterns already.

Quite the challenge, for some reason the legs kept looking wrong. Over all though I am very please with the end result. 

 

Edit: Found a minor mistake and decided to add a little more grass while I was at it.

Ya got some nice patterns to choose from on this request Luis, it is such a beautiful animal that everyone wanted to get in on it. 

All very good patterns for sure.
