Messman Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Howdy all. Now that I am over the shock of things I can really start spreading the word.....I AM GOING TO BE A PAPA (grandpa). I found out yesterday that my daughter is to be married and that she is now with child. So as long as things go as planned I will be a 44 year old Grandfather. Now the real fun starts though. I get to spoil a Grandchild (ohhh pay back is a bear :cheeky-smiley-006[1 ) I have got to get into the shop and build some furniture for that Grandbaby. I have some plans from WOOD magazine I think it is for a baby crib and changing station that grows into a bed and dresser. The first challenge is to find those plans, then the second challenge is to start building with out running myself any further into the poor house. Well any way I am excited about the whole thing now that I am over the whole shock process. Quote

Clayton717 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 congrats Chris, grandkids are fun. you can spoil them and send them back with the parents. Unfortunatle I became a young grangpa at 36. My daughter had a child as a teen, not a good situation but can't change whats been done. Our granddaughter is a little firecracker always full of energy. Quote
